Mei Mei Chan

You should get to know her because:
- A first-generation Cantonese immigrant from the San Joaquin Valley in California, Mei Mei is passionate about community building and empowering marginalized individuals.
- She joined Equal Rights Advocates in May 2019 because she is committed to an inclusive and non-binary definition of gender justice as “protecting the rights of persons … regardless of sex.”
- Prior to joining the Equal Rights Advocates, Mei Mei spent time working in art and education nonprofits across the areas of communications and marketing, development, and operations support.
Alumna of:
- Mei Mei graduated from Williams College with a degree in Art History and French.
Outside of work:
- In her free time, Mei Mei enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her family.
