Moms’ Equal Pay Day
This year, Moms’ Equal Pay Day falls on Wednesday, May 5. Why May 5? Because it takes the average U.S. mother, working full-time year-round, 5 extra months to earn what the average U.S. father earns in 1 year.
Twitter Storm: 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET – Join us to raise awareness about the wage gap experienced by moms and its disproportionate impact on moms of color. Alongside our Equal Pay Today coalition partners nationwide, we will be highlighting how workplace discrimination against mothers increases the wealth gap, as well as the impacts of COVID-19 on mothers and their families.
