Moms’ Equal Pay Day 2023

Social Media Toolkit

Take action with us on August 15, Moms’ Equal Pay Day, to help close income inequality between working mothers and working fathers.

The average U.S. working mother is paid just 62 cents per $1.00 paid to the average father. When taking only full-time, year-round workers into account, the average is not much better: 74 cents per $1.

Raise awareness with us social media, and contact your lawmakers about bills that would help mothers achieve equality in the workplace. Join us for a social media storm at 11:00 a.m. PT/2:00 p.m. ET on Aug. 15. Check our Equal Pay Today webpage soon for a link to the social media toolkit, where you can easily participate by copying and pasting pre-drafted content and images to your own social media accounts.
