Re-Imagine, Rebuild & Recover Justice: Listening to the New American Majority

With Black and Latinx communities experiencing deep losses due to COVID-19, police brutality, and the violence of institutional racism, now is the time to listen to their stories, re-imagine recovery, and re-energize our democracy.

Through August and September, ERA will be hosting telephonic townhalls in ten cities across the country, in partnership with other organizations and allies:

  • Atlanta
  • Chicago
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • Minneapolis
  • Newark
  • New York
  • Oakland
  • Philadelphia
  • Seattle

We must re-imagine what our country will look like on the other side of this pandemic. We must plan for a future that provides the necessary policies to safeguard against further racial inequities. By hearing from African American and Latinx women, we will understand what is needed during this time and beyond. This New American Majority will be pivotal in the 2020 elections.
