We are working with supporters and partners to ensure women and families will be stronger and safer after the COVID-19 pandemic than they were before it.
The people closest to the problem are also closest to the solution. ERA is listening and responding to communities most harmed by COVID-19: working women, student survivors, and families living in poverty.
Through our existing initiatives, we're shifting focus to prioritize the helping women, students, and families navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. Times of crisis usually exacerbate disparities, and hit hardest those who were already facing the most systemic discrimination: women of color, immigrant families, low-paid workers, trans and nonbinary students, survivors of sexual violence. Our 2020 policy priorities have shifted to address the most dire areas of need for these communities.
